Zanzibar Beach tennis
Non-members pay a fee (see prices for more info) which includes a racket and ball, members play for free
After playing, rake the courts
Keep playing area clean, use the trash cans
Members have to bring their own ball or can purchase one for NAF5,-
Reservations for the courts can only be made the same day via WhatsApp to Coach Manuel (+59995159013) and has to include the names of all players.
Jan Thiel Beach does not allow the usage of own drinks and food on the beach. Zanzibar Beach Tennis supplies cold water for all players when they bring their own bottle
tournaments
Members pay NAF20,- for tournaments, non-members NAF25,-
To sign in for a tournament use the website, www.beachtenniscuracao.com
Each team has to report their arrival to Coach Manuel and pay for the tournament before starting the first game
If a team is 10 minutes later than the official starting time on the schedule, this team will lose the match by default
All matches are “followed by”, so the next match will start as soon as the previous match is done. This means that all times are approximate. Players have to be on time for their match in order to prevent delays in the playing schedule.
After a match is assigned to a court, there is a maximum warm-up time of 5 minutes
The teams that will advance to the elimination rounds will be based on:
Most matches won
Head to head result
Game difference, example: 7-5= + 2.
Total games won
Matches played till 7 win by 2 games (6-6 tie-break)
Ball used is a BonBala orange/yellow and will be supplied by Beach Tennis Curaçao

Beach Tennis Curaçao has the final say in any rulings
bonbala ranking tournaments
The fee for BonBala Ranking Tournaments is NAF25,-
Players can only sign in for 1 category in the BonBala Ranking Doubles Tournament

Division of the teams in the pools are based on results of the teams in the actual BonBala Ranking.

Points earned during the BonBala Ranking Tournaments are listed below
If there are only 8 teams the points of the quarter final will not be earned
BonBala Ranking points are personal
When players win the BonBala Ranking Intermediate Doubles Tournament, they can only sign in for the Advanced Doubles next BonBala Ranking Tournaments
The players with the highest ranking will represent Curaçao during other tournaments in accordance with Coach Manuel
Beach Tennis Curaçao has the final say in any rulings
